Radiation can adversely affect memory efficiency in a particular part of the brain. This conclusion was drawn on the basis of a study conducted on about 700 children of teenage years.

 

Researchers from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute of Switzerland, in their study, noted the association between the radiofrequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) of cordless communication devices and memory-related potential in adolescents.

The study found that RF-EMF that reached the brain during the mobile phone use for more than a year could have adverse effect on memory-related potential. Key researcher Martin Rousseli said that this danger can be reduced by using headphones or loudspeakers.
