Air Force chief BS Dhanah says that Tejas is no match for the light combat aircraft made in the country.
The Pakistan-based single-engine fighter jet JF-17 does not wait any longer in front of it. Air Chief Marshal told JF-17 to present the Tejas as a future fighter aircraft.
Addressing a function in capital New Delhi, Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa said the above comment. He said, “There is a good article printed about this in an aviation journal. In this, the author has stated that JF-17 is technically not as advanced as the Tejas. Therefore, JF-17 has been described as a fighter aircraft of the present. Experts consider Tejas as a future fighter aircraft. Many of its systems are quite good.
According to the Air Chief, “Excellence of Tejas will depend on how we equip it. Hopefully, in the future, he will be able to identify himself as an effective fighter aircraft. ” Keep in mind that JF-17 is a single engine light combat aircraft, which China and Pakistan have jointly prepared together. While Tejas fighter aircraft manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) was included in the Indian Air Force in July 2916.
